Received an email today... From the FBI. Seeing it just made things more real. I'm in their database. And everything on the list is something I wanna do. I would be an IT Russian person with Crimimal Justice background.
. My current rigorous schedule for school has me in the following -
Information Technology - Computer Forensics Emphasis
Languages Minor - German? and Russian Proficiency
Criminal Justice Minor.
I have an extremely tight knit schedule for the next couple semesters
I wanna be an agent.
Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force if necessary.

Key Requirements:
· Must be at least 23 and not have reached your 37th birthday on appointment.
· Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
· Must meet physical requirements.
· Must pass all phases of the Special Agent Application process.
· Must commit to serving as a Special Agent for a minimum of three years.
Qualifications Required:
· A preliminary application screening to ensure eligibility, willingness, and awareness of the Special Agent position.
· A three-hour exam consisting of Cognitive, Behavioral, and Logical Reasoning tests (Phase I).
· A written and oral language test (for applicants claiming language ability).
· A 90-minute written exam (Phase II).
· A one-hour oral panel interview (Phase II).
· At least two Physical Fitness Tests (PFTs).
· A polygraph examination.
· A comprehensive background investigation.
Education:
· You must possess a four-year degree from a college or university accredited by one of the regional or national institutional associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education.
How you will be evaluated:
· Special Agent applicants will be assessed on their ability to meet the current needs of the FBI. Applicants will be ranked based on education, work experience and specialized skills using a three-tier Category Rating scale of “Most Competitive”, “Competitive” and “Least Competitive”.
Resumes will be rated based on the applicant’s demonstrated experiences(s) in the Special Agent core competencies, specifically:
· Leadership
· Oral Communication
· Initiative & Motivation
· Adaptability & Flexibility
· Organizing, Planning & Prioritizing
· Evaluating Information & Making Decisions
· Writing
· Interpersonal Skills
Duties:
*As an FBI Special Agent, you must:
· Adhere to strict standards of conduct, foremost having honesty and integrity.
· Endure a rigorous background investigation, credit checks, and polygraph in order to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
· Pass a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at least twice during the application process and three times during training at Quantico. Upon graduation, agents will also be expected to maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life-threatening situations on the job.
· Pass a medical exam which includes, but is not limited to, meeting visual and hearing standards.
· Spend the first 21 weeks of employment in training, away from your family, while housed at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
· Upon graduation from the FBI Academy, be available to transfer to any of the FBI’s 56 field offices, including San Juan, Puerto Rico or remote resident agencies (satellite offices) to meet the needs of the FBI. Special Agents rarely return to their processing office. Applicants should ensure their families are prepared and support this move.
· Throughout your career, be available for temporary duty assignments, anywhere in the world, on either a temporary or long-term basis.
· Work a minimum of a 50-hour workweek, which may include odd hours, and be on-call 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
· Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force if necessary.

Wow... That's pretty dern intense! Better start working out! I think it's awesome that you have a goal, and that you're willing to work for it, you definitely didn't choose an easy path!
