Perspective

"Try living day to day not being able to control your emotions. Having every interaction and relationship fall apart around you, because of you, but feeling powerless. Try not understanding yourself, not knowing yourself. Going from feeling nothing, cold, empty, to everything. And also, those with BPD also have a very increased risk of suicide, self-harm, drug-abuse, alcoholism, etc. Yeah, everyone can experience every single one of these things or have their moments. But these are not moods or 'bad days' or moments. This is our lives. Although the "multiple blows to the head" thing is terrible and not something we deserve (no one does), what's messed up is that I would gladly take that, because I hate myself and my head that much. Bring it, bitch."

Copied from tumblr.

In all seriousness, the "this is our lives" is very true. While people go through bad days every once in a while, I have the equivalent of that every day and rise above it most of the time. The Black and White nature of a Borderline has them viewing things as crisises.  They live from crisis to crisis.  And its not their fault they see the world that way. Their body and mind reacts like the world is ending, and its a battle to keep yourself in control.  Imagine having your family member shot, going backrupt, losing your job, and having your car break down in one day, and dealing with the mental atrocities that come with that, and then screw you for getting on my case when I mess up every once in a while.
