[Fasting]
*POST EDIT* This was written in church, but I thought I lost it when my phone died, but I found it in my drafts.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm blogging in church. Shoot me. Today is fast sunday. I picked a couple topics to fast for: School, Chris, and my reactions to the Cory/Natalia situation. I don't want to feel hurt when I hear her name, and remember how she judged me and bit my head off when I was nice. People like that get on my nerves. People who dislike me constantly hound my thoughts as I think of ways to make it better. I want to be indifferent to the entire situation, but, alas, its the first time I lost a good friend on an epic scale. I went through this when other people left, but not on this level.
I surprised myself by going so far as to say: "maybe even put her or me in each others path, so we can be friends." Raising an eyebrow at my words, even as I said them, I finished off my prayer with "Whatever you feel is best."
The next morning, Kristen showed up, (my new roommate) and I was driving her to church with me.
Kristen: So, who all is in the ward?
Laura: the block, people over by Cory, and some of Branbury.
Kristen: *raises eyebrow* uhhh... guess who is apparently moving into Branbury?
Laura: You're serious...
Kristen: Yup.
Really? Really? this is the answer you're giving me?
Maybe we'll be visiting teaching companions. Or something.
And then the hate feud will end.
P.S. Check out my 101 in 1001 and see how I'm doing!

Awwww. Laura, you are one of the people whom I've always looked to for kindness. That even while everything is crashing down around you, you look for the good in people.
I hope your wish for friendship comes true.
Have you ever tried fighting her?
