sad day
first post in a long time WHOOPEE!!!!!
i went to a band concert today. My sisters. They did the 13th annual OHS band spectacular. its different sitting out in the audience than in the band. They played one of my songs from last year, October by Eric Whitacre. Beautiful piece.
What's absolutely sad, is that Mr. Leman, one of the best teachers ever, is leaving orem high, and moving to a junior high school. the band gave him a plaque, that said to one of the best teachers ever, thanks for being more than that, thanks for being a best friend.
I lost it right there. i miss high school soooo much, and i am just a teeny bit upset that he was leaving before having the rest of my siblings. but he has very valid reason for not staying. You can't hate a guy for wanting more time with his kids.
So.. to rectify the situation... we got leman a facebook. we're waiting for a confirmation email. and then everyone can sign up to be his friend. HAHA my idea.
hopefully i can try and keep this blog up to date now, and maybe go back to changing and re-writing the layout every other week. haha.. but come on, who reads these?
