All good stories start with a "Once Upon a Time."

Once upon a Time, there was a girl named Laura, who desperately needed friends and found 2 boys, named Danny and Christopher.  They hung out together, every day at their apartment.  She was reminded again and again of how much time she spent with her ex boyfriend, which was comparable to the amount of time being spent with these two.  But based on the topics of spirituality, and how much laughter and joy she found being in their presence and on the brown couches in the living room, she realized how much better things were for her, that the Lord was looking out for her  So, January, she moved in next door to them, and started a friendship.  Everyday, she'd get up, and go to work, coming home to have lunch with her 2 new friends, going back to work, then coming home to spend at LEAST another 8 hours with them.  (She got off at 5).  This happened EVERY day... they would find the randomnest things to do, and say, like "FLOOGITTY."  The boys helped her see her worth again, and to not be depressed.

One day, Danny and Chris got accepted into the BYU School of Music Study Abroad in London.  This would be taking them away from her for 2 months starting in May.  They planned a road trip.  She volunteered to drive them both out to LA (where they were flying out of,)  but then Danny's mom said that she needed a car from Danny's sister.  So instead, they drove out to California in a different car, and Laura and Kayla, (Danny's girlfriend) flew home.  While in California, they gallivanted around Disneyland and Christopher told Laura that he liked her, and even in a special place, kissed her by the wishing well next to the main castle.

They left, and made it to London.   There was a hole in everyone's life.  Laura, suddenly had all this time on her hands to do...stuff...  But their absence was definitely noticed.  And in London, she was told that her absence was noticed too...  that the boys felt alone over there, just as much as she was alone here.  Then they discovered Skype which made it so that they could see each other over long distances, and suddenly they didn't feel so far away  They had many adventures, several of which scared Laura, at the same time making her jealous that she wasn't there. She bided her time counting down the days that were left.  They flew from London to Houston, and from Houston to LA, where they stayed with their parents for 2 days. Then started the drive home.

Christopher was able to log into Gtalk and talk to Laura most of the way home, with his Google Latitude updating every 20 minutes with each new city they answered, and Laura calculated how much time was left before they got here.

Laura i can't stop grinning!

She sat on her bed, waiting for them to come.  They were exhausted. They'd been stuck in traffic for hours, and were at least 3 hours late.  They were tired, and Chris had mentioned he was cranky... "Do I run out to greet them?" she wondered, knowing the answer was probably no. Overwhelming her friends with hyperactivity and excitement, might irritate them.  

She sat on her bed reading a book, when a loud obnoxious sound came from outside, it was a white jeep! THE white jeep, preparing to turn into the parking lot.  Looking in through the back window, she could see their heads.  Then, they pulled away and went through the round about. Knowing they were going to park in the driveway, she sprinted down the stairs to the kitchen window where she could get a good look, a grin on her face that was so big, she was surprised it fit there.  And there they were, parked next to the duplex.  The jeep was shut off, and Danny stretched.  Suddenly, her phone started ringing.  It was Chris.  She picked it up. 

"Hello?" she asked cautiously...

"Hi.... " he responded. 

She was silent...

"Are you coming?" he asked exasperatedly.  

She grinned.  "I.... I was going to wait, so I didn't overwhelm you.  I was going to let you get in first and relax."

"Oh sure, you just stay right there and we'll call you in a couple hours.... get over here.."

She hung up the phone leaving it on the couch grabbed her shoes, out the back door, down the steps, across the parking lot, and down the driveway  They were both still in the car, and Chris was getting out and Danny grinned and waved. They were covered in Scruff, and dirt, and sunburned.  There is no AC in the Jeep.   

Then Chris was there and he pulled her into a hug, and the world, which had been upsidedown for 2 months, righted itself, and she started to cry.  Danny got out and walked around the jeep. Laura looked at their faces, and laughed at Danny's Goatee.  "Did you guys roll around in the mud? There's something weird on your face... " Danny, laughed, and pulled her into a hug.  

Then they proceeded to make fun of her and her idea to fly out there and ride back with them, by showing her the back of the jeep, and how there was no room.  

" 'I can ride with the bags on top of me' " Danny joked, which earned him another hug.  

He walked around the jeep, and Chris put his arms around Laura again.  She snuggled up against him, and Danny came back around, saw them, glared, and then walked away whistling.  Chris reluctantly let her go, and Laura asked if there was anything she could help with, and they carried in the bags.  Laura carried Chris's bag up to his room, and Chris said hi to Tibbs, his cat.  Danny wandered in and out of the apartment, and went to show Mike and Joseph, the other roommates, the jeep.  Chris called Laura from the stairs, and took her hand and pulled her to a secluded area, where he kissed her.  She grinned and they both froze as they heard the front door open, causing them to jump apart.  

Laura realized that they might be hungry, and told Danny and Chris that she was going to run next door to get her debit card and phone to order pizza.  "Oh.. hurry back!" they both said, and she ran out the back door, arriving at her door to find it locked.   She was confused.. she ran around to the front of the house, and that door was locked too....  

She ran back to her neighbors, realizing she had no hope of getting in at the moment.  Danny hopped in the shower, and Laura and Chris had things to discuss.  One of which was the officially declaring of the Boyfriend and Girlfriend.  Danny went to go get Kayla, and Laura had a brilliant idea to call her roommates fiancee to have him come let her in.  Chris and Laura went to play with the ferrets.  And upon arriving back at Chris's house where Kayla and Danny were waiting, Laura introduced them both to her new boyfriend.

Actually,  I have to run to a wedding, but I wanted to get this up :)
