[ Wordpress VS. Blogger ]

All right. My first technological post.  As of lately, I've been looking into using Wordpress. Either to host my blog or to format it.   I mean, right now, my biggest decision is where to host this.  Some dork already took Kikastrophe.com.  (Why, I don't know)  This will either switch through Blogger to have my own domain name, or this will be a self hosted Wordpress blog. (which means bye bye layout.)

Here is what I've found:

1. It costs money to host your own website.
2. Wordpress has lots of ability to customize the themes, (including the fonts I want, and the way I want to set this up.)
3. I will probably have to pay to get a decent wordpress theme and I'd have to do alot of research to figure out how to configure the wordpress code.
4. Blogger will help me change my name to a specific Domain name. ( I just need to figure out what it will be.)
5. I know the blogger code.
6. Wordpress Blogs are so nice and professional.
7. Blogger is not usually found in search engines... (well, according to some sites, but I've had Alot of traffic come from people searching on google.
8. Blogger is DEFINITELY user friendly.
9. Both allow me to use my own domain name.

I think at this point in time, I'll probably stick with blogger.
 Those of you using either... what are your opinions?
