[Stuck]

Last night, as I was driving home from hanging out with Kristen, the Facebook app on my phone ringing through saying: "Chris Buttars has sent you a message."  Immediately I loaded up FB chat and looked at the message in my inbox.  It said:

hey, i might not be able to get online tonight, so had a good day and take care. ciao!

I responded back with a quick: "where are you going?"

And later today received this response:

"I'm in Brighton by the ocean. We have a free day, so we decided to have an adventure. The only problem is that our bus back to London leaves in the morning and we don't have a place to stay, so we'll see what happens."

So, I'm in fits of giggles when this comes through.  Chris's status changed to:

Chris Buttars

spent the most of the day at the beach in Brighton and still has no idea where he'll be sleeping tonight

And he received a bunch of comments on it.  I didn't think anything of it, until we got an update on his status that said:  Sounds like we'll be sleeping under a peer or on park benches tonight...ugh...
And then another one later that says: All the hostels and hotels are full so it looks a chilly night on the beach is in store
So... I'm starting to freak out.  There's nothing from Danny on his Facebook... But Chris has an iPod touch. It makes sense that he would have taken it on the trip to listen to, so he has Wi-Fi.

So I started talking to Sadie, and doing research, we found that the hostels are still open, overnight trains are still running till 11. (4 pm our time) and buses still ran till 9pm, 2 pm our time, which was BEFORE he was posting those updates.  Something isn't adding up... we're not sure what's going on... but, I'm a LITTLE full of ANXIETY.  This also means I'm not going to be able to talk to them tomorrow morning either.   But I wonder if they did this on purpose so they could 'have an adventure' as he put it.

My brain can't afford to lose another best friend.   * waits anxiously *
