Times we look beyond, And see a failure Of the sun to shine, Assume the morning Will never come And lying in darkness, Seek for the day gone by.
Lost to the hope, That the sun once rose That the sun now gone, Will never rise again On yet another new day. A day resplendent, With all the hopes and dreams, We may seek to make On that beautiful new day.
Every timeless moment, Every second gone by, Whether through movements Once through, And gone by, The direction that passages, Flown through those minutes, Of turbulent air And far off waves, We sometimes find it oft, That as simple as we are, Never is all we feel, That simple at all.
Expression, never born, We seek to feel, For deep do we feel, Yet so sought, We find jagged edges, And torn rocks, Stumbling our movements, Our efforts, And for all we desire, To feel and to show, Sometimes the easiest, Most forthcoming way, Is but the hardest to behold.
Words are words, And time immeasurable, Yet what speaks For the words never spoken, For things never to be, For undercurrents Shall always be undercurrents, Driven, yet never found. Expressed, yet never spoken, From deep beneath the waves, The light never penetrates, For depths untold, Deeply hide, Covering, Burying, And long since lost, Never found, Yet long shall they exist, As always, Emphasizing what is, What was, And what shall be, Here And Always forever, Yet Never Do We See.
Amen. *tsk*
